Meet Pastor Hopson

​Greetings Saints, I will like to take the moment to thank you for taking the time to explore more about the Church of the Lamb of God. I would also like to take the moment to share a little about my journey of becoming Pastor. In 2006 God called me into the ministry, I began by teaching bible study and I was ordained the following year. I served as Assistant Pastor at Christ Combination Mission Church alongside the late Senior Pastor Mary Hutson, who was also my mother.  In 2009 God furthered my call and I was installed into the Church of the Lamb of God as Pastor. 

It has been a pleasure to serve God while serving his people. Nothing gives me more joy than preaching the Gospel and leading people to Christ Jesus. Like many of us, my journey has not been the easiest either. We all fall short sometimes, but it is God who gives us the strength to endure and overcome. I live my life as a living testimony that GOD is REAL! We have to give our life to God and allow Him to be who He is in every aspect of our lives. Only then will we begin to understand that we cannot live the life that God intended for all of us without Him. 

I look forward to meeting you and your family as we embark on this road together. Our routes leading us here may have been different, but our destination to heaven is the same, so let's enjoy the journey together.

I love the fact that anyone who walks into our doors is family. The baggage of yesterday along with the burdens, disappointments and sorrows are removed when you step in. We want to assist you in the restoration process in every aspect of life, because family takes care of family."
